Growing ThatchMiscanthus is a very environmentally friendly production, the leaching of nutrients are at the same level as for natural areas, and the use of pesticides is very low (the use is mainly in the first two years of the expected 20 - 25 years rtation), or non existing, if produced as a organic material (In Denmark no pesticides are allowed in organic crop production)
There is full traceabillity for the material, you can litterally trace a bundle of ThatchMiscanthus from field to roof
